I just got home from another snowy adventure in the Austrian mountains! The area Hochkönig together with Salzburgerland touristic invited me and a couple of other bloggers/influencers for a few days to explore this part of Austria.
I’ve been to this area before in August and October last year but never during winter time. We stayed at hotel Sepp which is in the village Maria Alm. The village is small but so nice! Truly a cozy feeling it gave me with the beautiful Austrian style buildings.
The hotel we stayed at “Hotel Sepp” is an adult only hotel and is on walking distance to the ski lifts. It has such a cool vibe with a modern and cool design and feel to it. It’s very laidback and I loved that! It also offers a wellness area with infinity pool with an incredible view and a sauna build in an old airstream caravan. How cool is that?!

On the day of arrival we walked to the “Jufer Alm” where we fed the deer, ate amazing food, drank gluhwein and sled our way down again. Couldn’t have started this trip any better.
The next couple of days were spend on the mountains skiing and snowboarding. Most of the group went ski touring and I had my own private snowboard teacher “Fritz” to show me around. The ski area is enormous btw!
On out last night we were picked up by horse sled to take us to our last diner together and that was it. Another great trip has come to an end and I will miss the mountains once more. Can’t wait to come back very soon!! 🙂
Sorry for the lack of snowboarding pics! It was snowing super hard and I was having too much fun with my snowboard teacher boarding pow to take any photos!

Thanks to all the organisers for an amazing time! :
